Well, I hit a landmark on my mission.... I got sick... The past four days have been filled with coughing, headaches, aches and pains, and congestion. I seem to be on the tail end of the sickness now... YES! Being sick away from home sucks. But we were still able to get out and work!
We had Zone Conference on Thursday. It was really good to see President and Sister Riggs again! As well as the mission office staff. President Riggs was really pushing us to get the members involved in the work. Especially getting them to pray for Revelation. Elder Tolle and I have been doing a great job of that! We have been visiting 30 families a week, and are starting to see some success! Wednesday we visited the Rand family and followed up with them to see if they had been praying for revelation. They told us that they had and had gotten some! They said that they had an Armoire in his basement that he wanted in his bedroom upstairs. He asked if we could help with that. So Saturday we went to his house with 3 other missionaries. And we were lucky they came. Their neighbor, Mike, came as well. This piece of furniture was over 400 lbs, and the only way it would get into his room was through the window outside. So we used 2 ropes and a ladder to lift/pull it up the side of the house and into the window. We still can't believe it worked, but it did. It took us a couple tries too! Through that service, we were able to establish a relationship with Mike, and  we are going to go over to his house and start teaching him!

We also visited the Bound family and asked them the same thing. They told us to knock on their neighbors door and see if he wanted to learn more. So we did and he told us that he was baptist and was already saved. But he did tell us to knock on his neighbors door and ask them if they wanted to learn more about Jesus Christ. So we walked over to their neighbors house and did as we were told. A woman answered and told us that she was wanting to learn more about Jesus Christ and asked us to come over this Thursday! God works in mysterious ways!... Just to give you an idea, walking from house to house in this area takes FOREVER! The driveways are half a mile long, and the houses are half a mile apart. So this didn't happen in a matter of 5 minutes haha. It took us a while to walk from house to house...

We did have some disappointment this week. Mary, one of the most golden people I have ever met, dropped us... She said that she had prayed about Joseph Smith and got an answer that he wasn't a prophet. She asked us to not come so frequently, but could come and visit in a couple months. Gosh dangit... And then our investigator Paul Johnson, Who read the whole Book of Mormon in a week, dropped us as well... He said he was comfortable in his Baptist ways and didn't want to change... But it's not the end of the world. We did everything we could. They have their agency. I believe God is opening up our schedule to teach people who are ready to accept the Gospel in their lives.

Today is one of my best friends birthdays!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TANNER!!!!! I'LL SEE YA IN 19 MONTHS!!!

Love you all!!!
