So I'm emailing on Wednesday cause everything was closed on Monday and we were told to switch our P Day to today. HURRICANE SANDY WRECKED HAVOC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Just kidding haha. I guess it did up north, but it didn't do anything here. Just some rain and wind. Everyone was home on Monday cause all of DC got shut down. SO we were able to see A TON of families and investigators. It was a good day... Last week I got a text from the Zone Leaders. They said that a member of the Seventy was coming from Salt Lake City to our mission and holding a leadership conference. They told me that President had chosen me to attend with other Zone Leaders. We were supposed to pray and ponder over 3 questions. 1) What is holding our mission back from doubling our convert baptisms. 2) Why wont investigators keep commitments. 3) (We took an online survey a couple weeks ago on the LDS website) what impressions did you receive from taking the survey... The conference was supposed to be tomorrow, but because of Sandy, the airports were closed and the guy couldn't come. So it is pushed back till next week... I feel honored to be invited to the conference. I am sure that the Spirit will reveal a lot of revelation to me as I listen to what is going to be said, and am going to apply it to the work. I will make sure to update you all on that.

This last week was a really good week for finding!!! We have been visiting members weekly and making sure that they pray for revelation. President Riggs warned us that it would take time to see the fruit of our labors, but that we needed to keep visiting in order to see them. Well this is the 4th week that we have visited these families and we finally are seeing some results!! We received 6 referrals from various members in the past 5 days!!! It was awesome!!! These people already have fellow shippers (meaning the members who referred them), so we are excited to see some progress!! 

We have a lot of part member families, as I have most likely mentioned in a previous email, that we are working with. They all have one main thing in common... It's the husbands that aren't members. There are 3 families that we have been working with extra hard this past week... It's difficult to get these men to see the blessings that come with Eternal Families. They all think that it's a good idea, but are stuck on Joseph Smith. We are trying (and by we, I include their wives) to get them to swallow their pride and believe in something they cannot see. The fact of the matter is... they all want a visual sign to tell them that it is true. Now I'm not saying that it wont happen... But the effort that they are truly putting in to get that sign in pathetic. HELLO! How bad do they really want it? Not bad enough I guess... It kills me to see them putting forth such little effort, mainly because their families are being affected by it. All three of these guys' kids and wife are BEGGING them to try a little harder. Satan has a strong hold on them, but we are giving him a run for his money. We had really good lessons with them this last week, and should see them at church this Sunday. By small and simple things... That's what we keep telling their family. I can see each of these families going to the temple! We are trying to get the husband to see the vision and grasp hold of it as well!!!
