This last week has been a difficult one. We tried setting up appointments with the Freeman family all week, but they said they were "Busy" every time we went over there. We tried seeing Kris, but she was always gone, and never answered her phone. After church yesterday, we caught Kris walking out the door to go to dinner with her dad. She said we could come over Wednesday to talk. I pray that she will follow through. We then talked to the Freemans. They said that their week looked busy, but Thursday would work best. Again, I am praying that they follow through. Elder Dehaan and I have been doing a lot of tracting this last week. A lot. We have yet to be let in. This area is a tricky one for finding people. Most of the time people say that they are devout in their religion. I'm not getting down about it though. I know that there are people in this area waiting for us to knock on their door. We just have to find them. The more doors we knock, the closer we are to finding them. There is a guy in the ward who goes out with the missionaries a lot. I still don't really know why, but he has his call, he just doesn't know when he is going to report to the MTC. Anyways, one of his friends wants to talk to the missionaries, so we are going over to her house on Thursday. We are very excited about that!!! Slowly but surely the area is becoming more fruitful. I also was informed that Rajeev set his date for baptism for August 4. The missionaries serving there says it's as solid as it will get. I'm very much looking forward to going to that. I also found out that 2 other people who I taught in that area are close to being on date for baptism. Sweet!!!!

This last weekend, all 8 stakes that our mission covers had a huge dance festival performance. They asked some missionaries to help seat people. It was outside on a football field, and it rained here and there, but it was still good. I'm probably being bias, but the one I was involved in was much better. hahahahaha! It was still cool to watch the differences and similarities. I was in charge of seating the VIPs. There were a ton of congressman, as well as someone from the senate. I forget their names, but they were pretty snobby. I was able to shake Elder Gerrard of the Seventys Hand. That was really cool. It was a blessing to be able to be a part of that.

So a couple nights ago, we got home at about 9:10. The Assistants called us and told us that they wouldn't be home for another 45 min. So Elder Dehaan and I were sitting there, and decided to set up booby traps for them hahahahahaha. First, we switched their desks and made everything mirrored. Next, we put tons of Vaseline on their door handles. We then tied ties to their shower nozzle, so when they shut their bathroom door, the shower would turn on. We put saran wrap on their toilet and stretched it out tight so that it was see through. We THEN short sheeted Elder Parkers bed. Finally, Elder Dehaan put an alarm clock under their bed that would go off at 4:00 am. When they got home, we watched the mayhem unravel, or lack their of. They didn't think the desk switching was very funny, the Vaseline got them got all over their hands, but they just washed it off. The ties came apart as they closed their shower door. Fail. However, Elder Johnson started to pee in the toilet, and didn't see the saran wrap. HAHAHA it scared him so bad! He was laughing pretty hard. He said that was a pretty good one. Elder Parker discovered the short sheet before getting into bed, and the alarm clock didn't go off (probably good thing too). They both thought it was all funny. They knew why we did all of it too. Last Sunday night, we were at the office recording numbers. We were finishing up one last thing, and they said they were going to the apartment. 10 min later, we go out to our car and head home. Right when we got to a stop light and stopped, the popped up from behind the seats with masks on and started screaming. Scared us pretty bad, but they said it wasn't as good as they expected. As you can tell, we are pretty much brothers in the apartment. hahahaha...

I pray that I will be able to email you all with more success next week! All I can do is work my hardest and put my trust in the Lord. I know that he will provide us with people to teach.
